Just got home from a 3 day road trip with my job. I live in Colorado and spent the past three days in all parts of Wyoming. I had jobs in the following towns: Wheatland, Douglas, Casper, Gillette, Sheridan, Powell, Cody, Worland, Riverton, Lander, and Rawlings. I think my favorite town was Cody; the people are very friendly and special in their own kind of way. Plus, Cody is very close to the east entrance to Yellowstone National Park, somewhere I hope to soon visit. Being from Colorado, I've seen my share of wildlife and beautiful scenery but Wyoming has it's fair share and more! This is an awesome state with lots of boring parts but there are also lots of real pretty parts that are anything but boring! Wildlife seems to be in perfect harmony with Wyoming. As far as the people go, the people in Wyoming are what the people in Colorado used to be like; very down-to-earth, good hearted, friendly people. They obey traffic laws, which is complete opposite of those now occupying most of Colorado. I felt at home in Wyoming but felt a bit guilty feeling this way since I have no ties there.
Thanks for the great trip Wyoming, I will be back to see you again someday!
